Mylonadis Dimitrios, MScOT(paediatrics), BSc(Hons)OT Sensory Integration Specialist


Dimitrios Mylonadis is nationally recognised within the profession of occupational therapy in the area of sensory integration theory and practice. Dimitrios received his Bachelor of Science from the Technological Educational Institution of Athens: School of Health and Sciences, Division of Occupational Therapy in 2001. In 2002 he moved to London to study at a master’s level at the University of East London where he received a master of science in paediatric occupational therapy upon the completion of a major study in clinical reasoning.Dimitrios holds post-graduate qualifications in Sensory Integration theory and practice from the Sensory Integration Network UK & Ireland(www.sensoryintegration.org.uk) and is actively involved in training, clinical practice and research. In addition, he has presented numerous workshops and training modules in Sensory Integration. Dimitrios has mainly been involved with mainstream children with learning, behavioural, and autistic spectrum disorders.In September 2005 Dimitrios was appointed an executive member of the SI Network with responsibility for education and research and is now acknowledged as a national expert in the field of Sensory Integration.From October 2005 till July 2006 Dimitrios worked as a lecturer on a part-time basis at Brunel University in West London.Dimitrios is co-owner of Hopscotch Children’s Therapy Centre (www.hopscotchtherapy.co.uk), a fully private clinic in Harley Street in central London specialising in diagnostic assessments and treatment of Sensory Processing Disorders.
