Michalopoulos Th. Christos

He is a graduate of the Department of Physiotherapy of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. He has been practicing physiotherapy since 2003 as free lancer  but also in hospitals while since 2009 he is the head of department of  musculoskeletal disorders and therapeutic exercise at ¨Bioanadrasis¨ physiotherapy center.

His clinical  specialization concerns musculoskeletal disorders. As part of his postgraduate studies he studied  manual therapy  and especially the Maitland concept
The Maitland concept is the most complete method of manual therapy as in addition to mobilization techniques it includes biomechanical analysis, chronic pain management, treatment of neurodynamic problems, etc. He successfully completed the IMTA training programm  (international Maitland Teacher Association) and is an accredited IMTA Manual Therapist.

His postgraduate education also includes certified specialization in rehabilitation of myofascial (Stecco Fascial Manipulation, IMTT myofascial trigger point therapy, MDF)  neurodynamic dysfunctions (IMTA, NDS), headaches and TMJ disorders (Cervical – Cranio – Mandipular Academy CCMA) as well as acupuncture and dry needle.

Since 2021 he is assisting John Hobbs (president of AACP) in conducting his seminars ( Hobbs Master Needling Series) in Greece

Additionally , recognizing, through his clinical experience, the importance of therapeutic exercise, he specialized and became a certified instructor in methods such as Clinical Pilates and Gyrokinesis.
