Filip Pyl is a specialised physiotherapist in internal disorders. He completed his Master degree in  2006  at the University of Ghent (department of movement and rehabilitation) . The first year of his career he had the chance to gain professional experience at an unique institute for people with cystic fibrosis and obesity. (Zeepreventorium De Haan). Between 2008 and 2012 he worked in the adult cystic fibrosis center of Antwerp.

Since 2012 he is a team member of the cystic fibrosis center at the University hospital of Ghent. There he has the chance to write abstracts, accepted by the European CF society, about exercise capacity, physical activity and muscle force in adults with cystic fibrosis.

At the University hospital in Ghent he combined clinical work with research in cystic fibrosis  and in 2016 and 2017, he was a tutor in cardio and respiratory physiotherapy at the  University of Ghent. Since 2008 he has his own private practice and since few years he is the owner of a group practice for general physiotherapy, revalidation and respiratory physiotherapy.

During his career he had the opportunity to coöperate with famous experts in this field: Prof. Troosters T.; Prof Derom E.; Chevalier Jean; Van Ginderdeuren Philippe.
