The cost of the seminar is 430€.

To finalize your participation, you have to prepay 130€.

The remaining amount of 300€ must be deposited at least 2 days before the start of the seminar.

The course titled “Vestibular Strategies for the Outpatient Clinician Part 2” is a 3-day (21-hour) course that focuses on the anatomy, physiology, evaluation of, and treatment of balance and dizziness conditions for those with cervicogenic dizziness (CGD) and post-concussion treatment and progression.

Part 2 progresses beyond BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, VOMS (vestibular, oculomotor screening), and vestibular rehabilitation progressions taught in Part 1 and emphasizes the treatment of cervicogenic dizziness and post-concussion syndrome progressions.

Participants will learn the pathogenesis of cervicogenic dizziness and how to diagnose and treat CGD and associated cervicogenic headaches (CGH) driven by the upper cervical spine.  Secondarily the course will address the progression and treatment of the post-concussive patient introduced in Part 1.

The Part 1 and Part 2 courses are designed specifically for the outpatient physical therapist who wants to become known as a cervical specialist in whiplash, concussion, headaches, and dizziness.

Participants will be trained in the evaluation, differential diagnosis, and treatment of CGD and post-concussion syndrome.  This will be supported by treatment strategies, progression, and management of post-concussion syndrome beyond visual & vestibular drivers, including blood flow abnormalities, metabolic, inflammatory drivers, and psychological drivers.

The course objectives include:
1. Demonstrate an understanding of the pathogenesis of CGD.
2. Appropriately identify the driver of CGD.
3. Develop effective treatment strategies and pathways for the rehabilitation of patients with CGD.
4. Demonstrate and understanding the multifactor drivers of post-concussion syndrome.
5. Appropriately identify the driver of post-concussion syndrome.
6. Develop effective treatment strategies and pathways for the rehabilitation of patients with post-concussion syndrome.

Overall, this course is designed to provide clinicians with the knowledge and skills needed to diagnose and treat individuals with CGD and post-concussion syndrome effectively.   Through a combination of didactic and hands-on learning, participants will gain a thorough understanding of the evaluation and treatment of patients with CGD/H and post-concussion syndrome.

Day 1:  Mechanisms, pathophysiology, evaluation, and differential diagnosis of CGD and CGH.
Day 2:  Treatment of CGD and CGH.  Drivers of post-concussion syndrome.
Day 3:  Treatment and progression of post-concussion syndrome.

Testimonials

EPIMORFOSIS organizes specialization seminars for rehabilitation professionals. I’ve watched a lot. I strongly recommend you trust EPIMORFOSIS for your specialization and lifelong information.

- Alexandros Karagiannidis -

Training, a steady value for more than twenty years now, leads physiotherapy and keeps it at a very high level, well done to George Karambalis and his associates, we owe a lot to all of you.

- Philip Tzimoulis -

The best physiotherapists training institution. It enables the development of the necessary knowledge for clinical reasoning. High-quality training without having to travel abroad.

- Tsoukalas Kotsiris Georgios -

My first steps in professional specialization started with EPIMORFOSIS and continue. It has been with us all these years, covering the need for modern and documented knowledge, in collaboration with internationally acclaimed educational institutions.

- Kostas Poulis -

I have known George Karampalis and EPIMORFOSIS for many years. I’ve had the opportunity to join several clinical courses and I can argue that, at the level of organisation and selection of trainers, they have a high level of recognised prestige.

- Georgia Petta -

EPIMORFOSIS justifies its name by providing high quality courses. George Karampalis operates more like a constant “trainee” and less like an entrepreneur, and this is an additional positive fact in the effort that is put by the workers and teachers of EPIMORFOSIS.

- Dimitris Stamoulis -
