Tina Glynn is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of clinical experience in Oncology and Palliative Care. She has worked in specialist centres of excellence including the Royal Marsden, Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, St George’s Hospital in London, and Breast Cancer Haven.
She runs a private clinical practice in Dorking, Surrey, providing specialised interventions in scar therapy, oncological rehabilitation, lymphatic conditions, and procedures related to cancer surgery and cosmetic interventions.
Early in her career, she developed a strong interest in complementary and supportive therapeutic approaches that enhance functional recovery and quality of life following an oncological diagnosis and treatment. During the 1990s, she qualified in Massage and Aromatherapy and subsequently developed and led multidisciplinary teams delivering integrated cancer care across hospital and voluntary sector settings.
While at Breast Cancer Haven, she further specialised in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Scar Therapy, treatments she has been providing clinically since 2015. She trained with the late Willie Fourie and collaborated with Emma Holly through the ScarWork and RESTORE programmes.
Tina has extensive experience in the education and training of healthcare professionals, including graduate nurse development pathways, and is committed to the transfer of specialist knowledge and clinical skills to expand access to high-quality, evidence-informed scar therapy. Her teaching style is characterised by clarity, a supportive approach, and active engagement.
