LLLC1 “epimorfosis” keeps the right to change the seminar venue and the Lecturers depending on their availability.
Number of Participants: The number of participants will not exceed 24 individuals. If stakeholders are more than 20 a waiting list will be kept based on the date of the finalization of participation (date of down payment).
At the end of the seminar, a certificate of attendance will be issued.
Printed material (handouts) will be provided.
The course is addressed to physical therapists, osteopaths, dentists, orthodontists and other health professionals.
Course language will be English with simultaneous translation to Greek.
Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) refer to several highly common clinical disorders that involve the masticatory muscles, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and the adjacent structures. TMD is one of the most frequent causes of orofacial pain & headache and is associated with basic functional limitations such as difficulties in chewing, talking and yawning. Additionally TMD patients tends to suffer from other disabling pain syndromes such as Migraine, tension type HA and neck pain – therefore introducing a challenge to clinicians.
In this course, participants will learn an effective evidence informed assessment & practical management of people with TMD
