LLLC1 “epimorfosis” keeps the right to change the seminar venue and the Lecturers depending on their availability.
Number of Participants: The number of participants will not exceed 30 individuals. If candidates are more than 30 a waiting list will be kept based on the date of the finalisation of participation (date of down payment).
At the end of the seminar, a certificate of attendance will be issued.
Printed material (handouts) will be provided.
The course is addressed to Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and language therapists, early educators working in the neonatal unit and in early intervention.
Course language will be English with simultaneous translation to Greek.
This three-day course will focus on the role of sensory processing in early childhood development, behaviours associated with changed sensory processing and the use of sensory strategies to promote development.
The course will offer practical strategies to working with babies and their families in the neonatal unit and during the first two years of life.
Video, demonstration and case examples will be used throughout the course.
Lindsay Hardy has worked as a paediatric occu-pational therapist for over 30 years, she now works for a children’s charity, PACE, based in Aylesbury where she is Director of Clinical Services and Early Intervention Service.
Lindsay has developed and lectured on post-graduate courses for therapists and others in the field of paediatric occupational therapy, sensory integration, cerebral palsy, early intervention & developmental neurology. She is currently a rec-ognized teacher for the University of Ulster.
Emily Hills Bsc (Hons), is a Clinical Specialised Oc-cupational Therapist currently working in a Neona-tal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), within a general hospital. She is passionate about family-centred care and creating the optimal sensory environ-ment for the preterm baby and their family.
Emily has completed NIDCAP certification, is an Advanced Practitioner in Sensory Integration Emily is a Brazelton lecturer and is currently completing her MSc in Neonatal Studies
