LLLC1 “epimorfosis” keeps the right to change the seminar venue and the Lecturers depending on their availability.
Number of Participants: The number of participants will not exceed 20 individuals. If candidates are more than 20 a waiting list will be kept, based on the date of the finalization of participation (date of deposit).
At the end of the seminar, a certificate of attendance will be issued.
Printed material (handouts) will be provided.
The course is addressed to Physiotherapists, Trainers and other Health Professionals.
Course language will be Greek.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basic components of Holistic Yoga method. Studies and statistics will be mentioned regarding the use of Yoga Therapy by Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Coaches, Neuropathic and Doctors in America and all over the world.
During the course, participants will practice upright position of the body (asana) and exercises with body alignment. Props will be used to differentiate these exercises in order to fit in every patient’s case.
Basic learning of breathing techniques (pranayama) in order to use them during practicing (asana sequence) and relaxation (yoga nidra). Breathing techniques are main component of decompression and treatment diseases.
1st PART – THEORY & OVERVIEW

• Basic principles of Yoga Method
• What is Clinical Therapy Yoga? Applications of this method upon special population groups such as pregnant women, third age, athletes, kids, people with specific diseases and health problems -Yoga for Ailments
2nd PART – PRACTICE /YOGA POSTURES LEARNING – ASANAS
• Basic Hatha Yoga poses – Asanas
• Use of Yoga Props – belts, blocks, pillows, bolsters, blankets, chairs, mats
• Clinical Therapy Yoga adaptations of Yoga practices to help individuals face health challenges
• Scientific studies and applications of Clinical Therapy Yoga to specific diseases and health problems -Yoga for ailments
• Selecting and creating sequences of Yoga postures – Yoga Sadhasana, to suit the intention and context of each practice. Effectiveness on Yoga Therapy for Ailments
3rd PART – BREATHING EXERCISES & TECHNIQUES – PRANAYAMA
• Breathing techniques – pranayama and use of them in Clinical Therapy Yoga
• Learning and practicing different Breathing exercises and techniques
• Practice breathing and movement
4th PART – RELAXATION/MEDITATION – SAVASANA/YOGA NIDRA
• Practice Basic Relaxation – Savasana
• What is Focus/Concentration – dharana, what is Meditation – dhyana as Yoga elements
• What is Yoga guided relaxation and meditation technique – Yoga Nidra
• Group practice
These yoga techniques may be used by professionals to relax patients from anxiety and daily stress (emotional and mental tension ) and to facilitate an overall positive health related outcome.
Born and live in America. She is Registered Teacher of Yoga Alliance International, specialized in Yoga for Ailments & Pathologies, Yoga Anatomy, Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga. Certified International Instructor of Unnata Aerial Yoga, N.Y. & Yoga Swing Instructor. Certified PMA Pilates Teacher specialized in Clinical Pilates.
She has extensive experience as Personal Trainer in Fitness Clubs in America. She has been teaching Yoga & Pilates as a professional for 8 years now, collaborating with the most famous Studios in Greece. She deals with special programs Posture Rehabilitation, Prenatal/Postnatal & Yoga for Kids. Participation in International Fitness Conferences and rapporteur of many courses over Greece.

Fundamental Yoga postures -Asanas, Breathing techniques -Pranayama, Internal locks – Bandhas and concept of Chackras. What is Clinical Therapy Yoga. Applications of this method upon specific population groups such as pregnant women, third age, athletes, kids, people psychosomatic problems. Scientific studies and applications of Clinical Therapy Yoga to specific diseases and health problems -Yoga for Ailments. Foundation postures of two main styles of Yoga Therapy are taught: Traditional Hatha Yoga and Iyengar Yoga.
