LLLC1, “epimorfosis”, intends to organize advanced course of the clinical method PILATES FISIOS® on “UNIVERSAL REFORMER” & “CADILLAC” with Dr. Ft. Silvia Maria Raneri as instructor.

The course lasts 4 days and will take place:

LLLC1 “epimorfosis” keeps the right to change the seminar venue and the Lecturers depending on their availability.

Number of Participants: The number of participants will not exceed 20 individuals. If candidates are more than 20 a waiting list will be kept, based on the date of the finalization of participation (date of deposit).

At the end of the seminar, a certificate of attendance will be issued.

Printed material (handouts) will be provided.

Course language will be Italian with simultaneous translation to Greek.

Modules of the Advanced Course

The advanced training course aims to train physical therapists specialized in Pilates Fisios® able to use the technique in the rehabilitation treatment of orthopedic and neurological patients with high professional competence. At the end of the whole training advanced the physiotherapist will be able to use therapeutically the Pilates technique Fisios® complete even with the use of large equipment (Universal Reformer, Rehabilitation Table Step Barrel, Ladder Barrel, and Chair). These courses aim to encourage candidates in the practical testing of the technique and promote their use in different areas of rehabilitation and scientific research. Within each module will be ‘dedicated additional space to deepen the theoretical and practical application of the technique in the rehabilitation treatment of specific disorders: spine pathology (neck pain, low back pain, arthritis,

spondylolisthesis, stenosis, osteoporosis, pre and post-surgery, scoliosis), Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, functional post-surgery breast cancer rehabilitation; functional disorders of the upper quadrant and lower quadrant with processing of rehabilitation protocols for each pathology. At the end of the path it is required a paper (thesis) on a clinical case by the candidate with the use of the technique Pilates Fisios Silvia Raneri® method or title of your choice on the technique itself. The advanced modules, specific for one or more ‘tools, are the following:

- Pilates Fisios UNIVERSAL REFORMER

- Pilates Fisios REHABILITATION TABLE (CADILLAC)

- Pilates Fisios LADDER BARREL & STEP BARREL

- Pilates Fisios CHAIR

Each module is complete and allows the gradual development of a rehabilitation treatment. Knowledge of more tools and exercises allows to expand and deepen the technique.

This 4-day advanced course deals with Universal Reformer and Cadillac.

Instructor

Dott. Silvia RanieriDr. Ft. Silvia Maria Raneri

Silvia Raneri is Physiotherapist since 1995.

She worked in the department of neurology at the Don Gnocchi Foundation and was part of the team of Prof. Cecilia Morosini of the Association Comatose Rehabilitation ARICO. Later she studied in depth for various rehabilitation techniques including fascial manipulation, Mckenzie method for the diagnosis and therapy of the spine, the method Mezieres and the Pilates method in which she after attended specialized courses in Italy and abroad. In 2006 she reworked the principles of the Pilates method integrating it in their rehabilitation treatments and identifying this personal approach as Pilates method Fisios Silvia Raneri®.

Since 2007 she teaches his method of training at physiotherapists and doctors abroad and in Italy in collaboration with the ‘Italian Association of Physiotherapists AIFI, with various ECM providers and with public and private health facilities for internal staff training rehabilitation. She is scientific director of the GIS Rheumatology AIFI. Since 2011 collaborates with the University of Milan as the only teacher to the elective course “Introduction to Pilates Fisios” for students of the degree course in Physiotherapy.
